filesystem: add mac os x directory watcher
this code is incredibly stinky
tbh we should probably be using C++ threads everywhere else just
because they are SO much easier to code for than the shitty Qt
threads API

This is just like any typical cmake-based project. To install, it's as simple as: 1). cmake .. Configures the build, finds Qt and the necessary runtime libraries. 2). make Builds the package. 3). make install Installs the package. Use a suitable permission escalator like sudo or doas. On Windows, you'll probably want to use a Unix-like environment such as msys2 or Cygwin. No other environments have been tested yet.
